Welcome to MMO – Muslim Matrimonial Service (mmo.nsfuk.org).

These Terms of Service explain the rules and conditions for using our Shariah-compliant Muslim matrimonial service. By using our website or registering for our service, you agree to these terms.

1. About MMO

MMO is a Muslim matrimonial introduction service designed to support Muslims who are seeking marriage in a respectful, private and Shariah-compliant manner.

We help review biodata, manage introductions and facilitate communication through our team. We do not operate as a dating platform.

2. Eligibility

To use our service, you must:

• Be at least 18 years old;
• Be legally free and able to marry;
• Use the service only for the purpose of seeking marriage;
• Provide accurate and truthful information;
• Agree to follow our Shariah-compliant process.

3. Shariah-Compliant Service

Our service is operated in accordance with Islamic values and principles.

To maintain appropriate boundaries:

• Users cannot interact directly with each other through the website;
• All introductions are managed by the MMO team;
• Where appropriate, a wali, guardian or family member may be involved;
• We reserve the right to decline any introduction request;
• We reserve the right to stop communication that is inappropriate or unsuitable.

4. Registration and Biodata

When registering, you may be required to provide personal biodata including information about your background, family, education, employment, religious practice, marriage preferences and other relevant details.

You agree that all information submitted to MMO must be accurate, complete and up to date.

You must inform us immediately if your circumstances change, including your marital status, contact details or intention to continue using the service.

5. User Responsibilities

By using MMO, you agree that you will not:

• Provide false, misleading or incomplete information;
• Use another person’s identity or details;
• Register if you are already married, unless clearly disclosed and lawful;
• Use the service for casual dating or non-marital relationships;
• Harass, pressure, abuse or mislead any person;
• Attempt to bypass the MMO managed introduction process;
• Request or share inappropriate content;
• Use the service for unlawful, harmful or un-Islamic purposes.

6. No Direct Contact Between Users

Users are not permitted to contact each other directly through the website.

Any communication, introduction or exchange of biodata must be managed by the MMO team. This is to protect privacy, maintain Islamic boundaries and ensure a respectful matrimonial process.

7. Introductions and Matching

MMO may use the information you provide to consider suitable matrimonial introductions.

We do not guarantee that:

• A suitable match will be found;
• You will receive a specific number of introductions;
• Another user will accept your biodata;
• An introduction will lead to communication, engagement or marriage;
• The service will meet all personal preferences or expectations.

All decisions relating to marriage remain the personal responsibility of the individuals and families involved.

8. Verification and Checks

MMO may carry out reasonable checks or request additional information where appropriate.

However, we cannot guarantee that every detail provided by users is fully verified. Users and families are encouraged to make their own enquiries and take appropriate precautions before proceeding with any proposal.

9. Fees and Payments

Some services may require payment. Any applicable fees will be explained before purchase or registration.

Fees may cover registration, profile processing, administrative work, matching, introductions and customer support.

Payment for our service does not guarantee a successful match, proposal, engagement or marriage.

10. No Refund Policy

All payments made to MMO are final and non-refundable.

No refund will be provided if:

• You decide not to continue using the service;
• You withdraw your profile;
• You are dissatisfied with the number of introductions;
• A proposed match does not proceed;
• You find a spouse through MMO or elsewhere;
• Your account or profile is removed due to breach of these terms.

This does not affect any legal rights that cannot be excluded under applicable UK law.

11. Suspension or Termination

We reserve the right to suspend, restrict or terminate your access to the service at any time if we believe that:

• You have breached these Terms of Service;
• You have provided false or misleading information;
• Your behaviour is inappropriate, abusive or harmful;
• You are misusing the service;
• Your use of the service may harm another person or the reputation of MMO;
• Continuation of the service would conflict with our Shariah-compliant process.

Termination of your service does not entitle you to a refund.

12. User Profile Removal

You may request removal of your matrimonial profile at any time by contacting us at: mmo@nsfuk.org.

We may retain certain information where required for legal, administrative, security or dispute-resolution purposes.

13. Privacy and Data Protection

We handle personal data in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable UK and EU data protection laws.

By using our service, you acknowledge that MMO may collect and process personal biodata for the purpose of providing matrimonial services.

14. Confidentiality

Matrimonial information shared through MMO must be treated with respect and confidentiality.

Users must not copy, publish, forward, screenshot, misuse or disclose another person’s biodata or personal information without permission.

15. Website Use

You agree not to misuse the website or interfere with its proper operation.

You must not:

• Attempt to hack, damage or disrupt the website;
• Upload malicious code, viruses or harmful content;
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any system or data;
• Use the website for spam, fraud or unlawful activity;
• Copy or reproduce website content without permission.

16. Intellectual Property

All website content, branding, text, graphics, design, layout and materials belong to MMO or its authorised partners unless otherwise stated.

You may not copy, reproduce, distribute or use our content for commercial purposes without written permission.

17. Limitation of Liability

MMO provides a matrimonial facilitation service. We are not responsible for the personal decisions, conduct or actions of users or their families.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, MMO shall not be liable for:

• Failure to find a suitable match;
• Unsuccessful introductions;
• Decisions made by users or families;
• Disagreements between parties;
• False or incomplete information provided by users;
• Emotional distress arising from matrimonial decisions;
• Indirect, consequential or financial loss.

Nothing in these terms excludes liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded under UK law.

18. No Professional Advice

Any guidance provided by MMO is for general matrimonial support only.

We do not provide legal, financial, counselling, immigration or religious fatwa services. Users should seek appropriate professional or scholarly advice where required.

19. Changes to the Service

We may update, suspend, amend or withdraw any part of the service at any time.

We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised effective date.

20. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any dispute relating to these terms or the service shall be subject to the courts of England and Wales.
